We live in a day when many churches struggle to make a difference in their communities and to make ends meet. Unsure what to do in this ever-changing cultural context - and perhaps resistant to change - a lot of congregations have simply closed their doors on the world. But, here at the Maize Manor Campus, we have taken a different approach. While other churches have closed their doors, we have opened ours. While other churches have turned inward, we have faced out to the community. And, while other churches have squandered resources, we have aligned resources for the Kingdom of God. Much of this work has been done by creating the campus approach to ministry, where many churches work together on one site to make a bigger impact than any of them could alone. These past five years of campus-building have brought many changes around our site…but they have also strengthened the ability of the Maize Manor Campus to carry out the mission of the church by reaching the people beyond our doors. This November, we are going to reflect on some of the new and innovative ways we make disciples of Jesus Christ and transform the world             On This Rock, where we are building our church(es).
