Nursery care is available from 9:15 am – 12:15 pm for infants to children under the age of four in an age appropriate, dedicated room.

Children are also welcome to stay with their parents or guardians during either service.

Our staffed nursery and volunteers are trained in Safe Sanctuaries Policy practices and procedures. Leaders in children and youth ministries are screened and have had a background check.

Safe Sanctuaries Policy

The United Methodist Church states that, “…children must be protected from economic, physical, and sexual exploitation and abuse” (Book of Discipline, 2012). We recognize that our faith calls us to offer hospitality and protection to all children, youth and vulnerable adults, as well as those who are committed to ministering to them as volunteers and employees.

Safe Sanctuaries Training (click to complete your training and policy review)

Training and policy review is required for all church staff and volunteers that will be working with children, youth and vulnerable adults. Training and reviews are completed annually beginning the first Monday of August for the following program year.

An initial educational component of Safe Sanctuaries Policy, including its procedures and practices, is to be implemented prior to any adult having direct supervision of children, youth and adults. Thereafter, training includes documentation and review of Safe Sanctuaries Policy, including procedures for supervision and current information on how to identify and report child, youth and vulnerable adult abuse.

If you have questions regarding the Training or Safe Sanctuaries Policy please contact the church office.
