This past year has been unlike any other in my 18 years of ministry. Back in March, the church had to shift our ministries to observe social distance and slow the spread of a global pandemic. Yet, even during a pandemic, the Spirit continues to call the church to live out our mission. No, we have not been living out our mission in the exact same way as we used to. But, we have continued to Live like Jesus by welcoming, loving, worshipping, serving, and witnessing to the world. This November, while we look ahead to a new year in ministry, we are going to study biblical stories about people who devoted their lives to God, and consider what it means to be faithful to our calling as The Church in a Pandemic.
