Can I bring my kids?
Of course! We love kids at Maize Manor UMC and offer age-appropriate environments where your kids (infant – 5th grade) will learn about Jesus and the Bible on their level. We have excellent, trained children’s and nursery workers who have passed all the necessary background requirements. If you’d feel more comfortable having your kids attend service with you, however, this is also acceptable.
What are the services like?
Each service is typically 60 minutes long and includes a time of worship, Bible based preaching, announcements, prayer, and offering. Check out past and current sermon series here or learn more about Sunday Worship here.
What kind of music is there during worship?
We offer two music styles at Maize Manor UMC. Our Traditional service has music led by the organ and choir. You’ll enjoy familiar hymns, special music, and the adult bell choir. The Contemporary service music is led by the Praise Band and includes uplifting, current and well-known worship songs presented by singers, keyboard, guitars, and drums. Learn more about Sunday Worship here.
What should I wear?
Most of us wear casual clothes at our services, although some of us dress up. We’d like to think you will be as comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans as you would be in a business suit.
