The Stories of Jesus: Parables from the Gospel of Luke

Jesus loved to teach in parables – or, short stories that have an abundance of meaning.
Although Christ’s parables may be familiar and seem simple on the surface, much can be
learned about their original messages by studying them closely. Beyond that, since there are 4
gospels in the Bible, we can also learn from comparing and contrasting the same story as told
by different authors. So, this Lent, we are going to slow down and carefully study The Stories
of Jesus: Parables from the Gospel of Luke.
