This Mission Outpost

Most people think of the church as a building. But, as I say most every Sunday: The church is not a building – the church is the people. We are the ones in whom the Spirit is supposed to live and breathe and move while we carry out Christ’s mission. That means the building we gather in is really an outpost for the work of mission. So, this July, we are going to explore – and celebrate – some of the ways this building is used to serve our community and build the kingdom. From clothing the naked to feeding the hungry to creating space for people to heal physically and spiritually, God calls us to make good use of This Mission Outpost.
