Alarm clocks. Car horns. TVs. Sirens. The constant whirring of your own thoughts while you process all the things you have to do on an ordinary day. This world is a noisy place, filled with tension and distractions. So it is good for the soul to steal away from the constant hum of activity and allow ourselves to rest with God in silence. This June I invite you to consider the spots where you go to seek calm. And, as our culture gets ready for another summer of travel and vacations, I will share with you some of my favorite Quiet Places.
