I have a soft spot for Christmas carols. I’m not sure why, but they have always been one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. When I was a child, I doubt that I thought very much about the meaning or the message in most carols. However, as an adult, I’ve discovered many Christmas carols really do have a good lesson. This Advent, I am going to research the stories and meanings behind popular carols; reflect on some of the top news stories of 2021; and, celebrate the uplifting messages old familiar Christmas carols can bring to our lives. Come to worship this Advent to uncover The Real Meaning of Christmas Carols.
